Operating Room Services
We have remarkable Operating Room teams at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System.
Our board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists are supported by exceptional
surgical residents-in-training, and highly skilled nurses, physician assistants,
and technicians. Our team delivers excellent care for all
types of surgery to 30,000 patients each year. Our inpatient and outpatient surgical suites
are equipped with the most advanced surgical and patient monitoring technology.
Ann Arbor Campus
- The new main Surgery Pavilion has
60,000 square feet, 17 surgery suites featuring the latest
medical technology and 40 recovery bays. The family waiting
area has a 90-person capacity, which includes wireless
Internet, refreshments, alcoves for families to congregate
and family consultation rooms. In addition, each family
receives a pager so they can be alerted to the progress of
their loved one before, during and after surgery.
- The Michigan Orthopedic Surgery
Center has three operating rooms. The surgeons, staff and
equipment are dedicated to surgery on bones and joints.
- Ambulatory Surgery Facility has six operating rooms for outpatient procedures
in all surgery specialties except orthopedics.
St. Joseph Mercy Saline Hospital has three operating rooms.
St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital in Howell has three operating rooms.
St. Joseph Mercy Woodland Health Center in Brighton has three operating rooms
for outpatient procedures.
Patient care before and after your surgical procedure is provided at all sites
by physician and nursing staff who are experts in the perioperative experience.
