Cancer Research/Clinical Trials
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) considers us a model Community Clinical
Oncology Program (CCOP). St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, is the lead institution
in the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium, one of 50 programs nationwide. Nationally,
we partner with top cancer centers in clinical trials, such as M.D. Anderson
and Mayo Clinic.
Our oncologists have access to cutting-edge treatments and experimental medications.
SJMHS offers clinical trials at all phases of development.
Our commitment to research also enables us to continuously study the quality
of clinical outcomes. We examine and evaluate standards on an ongoing basis,
and implement proven systems and processes to enhance treatment quality.
