Email: dunnamr@trinity-health.org
Romina is a first generation American, born in Detroit, Michigan from
a Croatian father and an Italian mother. She was named after the Italian
pop star, Romina Power. She met her first passion and soul mate, her husband
Gregory, through their best friends at Michigan State University. They
both share their love of country music, spicy foods, college football
and the great outdoors. Greg left his hometown of Portland, Oregon so
that they could attend Wayne State University together where Greg graduated
from law school and Romina received a Masters in Physiology by conducting
and publishing women's health research. Just two weeks following graduation
from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, their beautiful and spunky
daughter Natalie Felicity was born. In April 2006, their second daughter,
Audrey Siena arrived at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. Her husband has taken
great pride over the last three years being a stay-at-home dad. After
completing two years of residency training in family medicine at Oregon
Health & Science University, Romina could no longer ignore her true
passion and drive for Obstetrics and Gynecology. Romina looks forward
to canoeing on the Huron River, eating Stucchi's ice cream and hiking
in the many nearby parks with her family.
Hobbies and Interests: Romantic comedies, reading children's' books
to her daughters, drinking Americano's, cooking Mexican cuisine, and air
hockey. |

| Tonya Henderson, MD - House
Officer 4
Email: HenderTB@trinity-health.org
Tonya was born in Detroit, MI. Early in life, her parents moved to Southfield,
MI to provide their children with the best possible public education at
that time. Tonya excelled academically in the Southfield school district.
At age 8, on a hot, sunny summer day, she asked to go to the library to
learn more about the human body because she was "going to be a doctor
someday." As she continued throughout her secondary education, Tonya's
interest in becoming a physician solidified.
Tonya attended University of Michigan for her undergraduate education
and was accepted to Wayne State University School of Medicine for her
medical degree. It was here that she developed a passion for surgery and
primary care. (A career in Obstetrics and Gynecology fulfills this passion!)
From there, she remained in the Detroit Medical Center network as a resident
in the OB/GYN program. She successfully completed two years of her training
there. Tonya was happy to transition from the DMC network to the Trinity
Health system to complete her training at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Tonya is married to an amazing and supportive husband, Blake, and raising
three children in a loving, Christian home. Tonya enjoys reading, sewing,
cooking, cleaning, shopping, mentoring young ladies, and manicures/pedicures! |

in Southfield, MI. After moving to Gaithersburg, Maryland for a year her
family relocated to Orlando, FL where she spent the remainder of her childhood.
Dianna completed her undergraduate degree at Oakwood College in Huntsville,
AL and then went on to Drexel University College of Medicine. At Drexel,
she solidified her interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology and began feeling
the urge to be 'closer to home' during residency. Dianna is
very excited that she now has the opportunity to return home to Michigan
and she hopes to see the Pistons win another championship.
Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with family and friends, shopping,
cooking, movies, reading, traveling, mission trips, and just about anything

Sandy Li, MD - House Officer 4
Email: Email: lisj@trinity-health.org
Sandy was born in northern China and moved to the United States with
her parents when she was a young girl. They settled in Boston, Massachusetts
where she completed most of her education. Sandy attended Brandeis University
for her undergrad and became very interested in research. That interest
eventually brought her to Ann Arbor to pursue graduate studies in Neuroscience
at the University of Michigan. While studying at U of M, she fell in love
with this charming city away from home and also met her boyfriend, David.
Sandy's interest in research and her desire to work with people eventually
led her to medical school, where she spent the next four years at Drexel
University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Sandy looks forward to
living in Ann Arbor once again - jogging in the beautiful Arb, and then
having some yummy crepes at Café Zola. Most of all she is looking
forward to being close to her boyfriend David, who will be starting his
own residency at U of M.
Hobbies and Interests: In her spare time, Sandy enjoys cooking, exploring
new restaurants, watching movies, exercising, reading, and going to concerts,
musicals, and the opera. |

Rachelle Huang, MD - House
Officer 3
Email: huangr@trinity-health.org
Rachelle Huang was born on a sunny day in Lansing, Michigan, during an
uneventful labor (she tries not to cause too much trouble). Although she
is in wolverine territory, she vows to never convert and her blood will
be forever green. She is a Spartan with her BS in physiology and her MD
from the Michigan State College of Human Medicine. When she was six years
old, with a Fischer Price stethoscope in hand, she told her parents she
was going to be a doctor. The conviction never wavered. She became interested
in obstetrics and gynecology during her third year of medical school after
delivering her first baby. She decided on this specialty when she saw
the need for better women's health care internationally. Rachelle
has traveled on medical missions trips to Mexico and Ecuador, and hopes
to pursue these interests after residency.
Hobbies and Interests: When she's not catching babies, she enjoys
eating, golfing, attending church, traveling, playing music (flute and
piano), and even watching American Idol. She will be happy to discuss
the season with you. Her lifetime ambitions include skydiving, riding
in a hot air balloon, and tasting the desserts of every country. She has
been with her boyfriend, Mike, for three years. He will be doing his Internal
Medicine residency in Los Angeles. Her first investments of residency
will be a good cell phone plan and a Tivo so she can watch her favorite
shows post-call. |

| Jedidiah Perkerewicz, MD -
House Officer 3
Email: perkerej@trinity-health.org
Jed was born and raised in North Dakota. As a child it was evident early
on that athletics would be a big part of his life. He began gymnastics
at age four and went on to be a North Dakota state champion two years
in a row. He continued developing his athletic skills in high school and
was given a scholarship to play football at the University of North Dakota.
During his undergrad years he divided his time between playing college
football and pre-med studies. One of his greatest memories of undergrad
is winning a national championship with the 'Fighting Sioux'.
Jed also attended medical school at the University of North Dakota. During
that time he met and married his wife Sarah. Together they have a one
year old son named Isaac who keeps the both of them very busy. It was
during Sarah's pregnancy and delivery of his son where his interest
in obstetrics and gynecology was solidified.
Hobbies and Interests: Jed loves to spend as much time as possible with
his family. Together they go for walks and bike rides in Ann Arbor's
many parks. They love ice cream parlors, and attend the great family activities
this area offers. Jed also enjoys participating in all sports, especially
golf. He takes great pride in following 'Fighting Sioux Football',
his alma mater. |

Email: BryantSS@trinity-health.org
Stephanie grew up in the beautiful state of Montana where she enjoyed
camping, fishing, and hiking with her family. She had told her family
she wanted to be a "baby doctor" since she was a child and was
obsessed with watching Baby Story and Special Delivery on Discovery Health
Channel. She attended Montana State University in Bozeman and met her
college sweet heart, Mike, in Organic Chemistry, and chemistry it was.
Together they ventured to California, attending medical school at Western
University of Health Sciences, in Pomona, CA. She enjoyed 3 years of sun
and surf until Mike matched into an orthopedic residency in Michigan,
and asked her to marry him and drug her out to Michigan with him. She
completed her 3rd and 4th year clinical rotations in Michigan where she
became addicted to delivering babies and fell in love with St Joe's during
her OB/GYN sub-I.
Her hobbies include: cooking, eating a wide variety of ethnic foods,

Carly Davis, MD - House Officer
2
Email: DavisCH@trinity-health.org
Carly Davis is a true Michigan girl. She was raised by two nurses in
the Metro-Detroit area and is proud to say that she actually loves living
in Michigan and plans to stay (despite the obvious issues with weather,
roads, etc.). Carly is a 2000 graduate of Lutheran High Westland and went
on to complete her Bachelor's degree at Kalamazoo College and her
MD at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Go Spartans!
Carly is thrilled to be living in the Ann Arbor area for the first time.
When not at the hospital, Carly spends as much time as possible with her
family, particularly her daughter, Avery, who was born during her third
year of medical school. Carly and her husband, Jason, have been married
since 2004.
Hobbies include camping in Michigan's beautiful 'up north,'
traveling anywhere, going to the theater, eating gourmet cuisine and drinking
fine wine, playing cards with friends, and watching too many primetime
dramas. |

Dayna Ingram, MD - House Officer
2
Email: IngramDM@trinity-health.org
Dayna is proud to be living proof that there are good things associated
with Gary, IN. Born and raised there taught her a sense of hard work and
compassion. It was also where Dayna first gained her interest in medicine,
while participating in an internship as a student at Depauw University.
After witnessing her first childbirth, she knew that obstetrics was what
she was meant to do. This fire continued through college and allowed her
to attend medical school at Indiana University.
During her studies at Indiana University, Dayna participated in a long
awaited medical mission trip to Eldoret, Kenya where she studied women's
health via obstetrics and gynecology. Being able to learn about medicine
in the third world country now drives her to eventually be able to practice
medicine in Africa.
Dayna is excited to be a Michigan transplant (although she spent plenty
of time vacationing here as a child). In her spare time (yes, she has
plenty), Dayna enjoys cooking, most outdoor activities, country music,
and spending time with her family. Most importantly, she manages to still
stay an avid Chicago Cubs and Indianapolis Colts fan despite the ever
presenting Detroit influence.

Jill Frederick, MD - House Officer 1
Email: frederjs@trinity-health.org
Jill was born right here at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital, and was raised in Ypsilanti, MI. Although she grew up in wolverine country, she fell in love with Ohio State University when she agreed to a campus visit to appease her father. She received her BS in molecular genetics, and went on to attend medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit. Jill found something to love about every discipline in medicine, but felt that OBGYN would give her the best opportunity to pursue her passion for genetics. While in her second year of medical school, she met her husband Joel at a mutual friend's euchre tournament when they were partnered up together. Joel is in his intern year at the Detroit Medical Center, where he matched into Anesthesiology.
Jill adores her 'child'- a Jack Russell named Murray - who is a crazy, fast, bundle of energy! She attends as many baseball games as she can (Go Tigers!) and is looking forward to shopping now that she has an income. She loves college football, and on any given Saturday afternoon in the fall can be found glued to her television. She also loves to read, especially Harry Potter, and watches way too much tv. |

She married her high school sweetheart, Aaron, and then attended medical school at the
University of North Dakota. It was during her 3rd year OB/GYN rotation that her fascination in the field began. One of her most valuable experiences during medical school for her future practice as an obstectrician was having her beautiful daughter, Hayden Rae.

 |
Nisha Shastri, MD - House Officer 1
Email: shastrin@trinity-health.org
Nisha grew up in Zeeland, MI, a small town on the west side of the state.
She decided to attend college at the University of Michigan where she scared
her parents by majoring in Philosophy. Much to their relief, she still
loved the sciences and had plans to attend medical school. Nisha attended
Michigan State University, traveled to the Flint campus for her clinical
years, and now is back in Ann Arbor for residency - completing her grand tour
of Michigan!
Nisha loves trying new things and 'stealing' other people's hobbies for short periods of time. She loves riding things that go fast including (but not limited to) four wheelers, snowmobiles, and scooters. This excludes all roller coasters with drops. Nisha also enjoys dancing and traveling. She is always looking for suggestions on books she should read or movies she *must* see. |
