About the Area
Welcome to the city of Port Huron, known as the Maritime Capital of
the Great Lakes. Our city stretches for seven miles along the shore
of the St. Clair River and the base of Lake Huron. We're proud
of our area's unique history and notable landmarks such as Michigan's
oldest working lighthouse, the Blue Water Bridge, and the
Thomas Edison Depot Museum. Port Huron is a popular tourist destination
but join us here and you'll see why we're also a great place
to call home.
You'll
find plenty of exciting, year-round opportunities both on and off
the water. Come spend a day at the beach. Plan a picnic in one of
our beautiful parks. Explore the historic downtown shopping district.
Or take a stroll along the boardwalk. Whatever you're interests,
you'll find there are endless ways to enjoy our remarkable community.
