Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program is a voluntary program designed for
individuals eighteen years of age or older that require a more intense level
of service than weekly or biweekly outpatient mental health treatment. It is
a highly structured program of group therapy, individual therapy, and education
that operates seven days a week. There is also an opportunity for family members
and other caregivers to be involved in the treatment process. Many patients
are able to avoid or shorten inpatient admissions by participating in the Adult
Partial Hospitalization Program.
